Haupts\u00e4chliches Augenmerk wurde auf die Ansteuerung motorischer Weichenantriebe wie jene von Fulgurex und Conrad gelegt. Der WD2012 kann hierzu 4 Weichen ansteuern und ben\u00f6tigt daf\u00fcr eine halbe SX-Adresse, also 4 von 8 Bit. Unterst\u00fctzt werden u.a. die Modi Dauer- und Impulsbetrieb.
